All of my botanical paintings depict flowers that I grew in my own garden.
My digital paintings are done in a style similar to my watercolor paintings, using a software program that emulates watercolor paints and brushes. The paintings are created brushstroke-by-brushstroke, but I am painting using a digital tablet and pen - that is, with light rather than with paint and brushes.
Some people may think that digital art means a computer has created the image, but my artworks are entirely hand painted by myself, there are no automatic or computerized brushstrokes.
My primary focus as an artist is painting space art, astronomical illustrations and aviation art. Some of my artwork was launched into space and orbited Earth on the Mir Space Station!
